Saudi Arabia’s General Authority of Civil Aviation said two attacks on international airports on October 8 killed at least three Saudi nationals and injured 36 people. King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh and a Saudia passenger aircraft were damaged, but airport operations later returned to normal. The Houthis said they had struck Riyadh airport with missiles.
