WorldNavi Pillay awarded 2026 Nobel Peace Prize

The Norwegian Nobel Committee awarded the 2026 Nobel Peace Prize to former South African jurist Navanethem “Navi” Pillay for her work promoting peace and international law. It said she helped ensure prosecutions for war crimes, crimes against humanity and genocide. This year’s prize drew 287 nominations.
