A diesel passenger train traveling from Lviv to Sokal collided with an electric locomotive as it left Pidzamche station on Oct. 8. Eight people were injured; five were hospitalized and three treated at the scene. The passenger train’s driver was trapped in the cab, and the cause is under investigation.
