WorldRussia’s permanent representative says Kyiv systematically violates CWC
Vladimir Tarabrin, Russia’s permanent representative to the OPCW, said Ukraine systematically breaches its obligations under the Chemical Weapons Convention. He said Russian military personnel continue collecting evidence of Ukrainian forces’ use of toxic chemicals and riot-control agents, with sample analyses regularly submitted to the OPCW. Tarabrin said Russia categorically rejects Kyiv’s accusations and that riot-control chemicals are not in the Russian army’s arsenal or used in its operations.
