EconomyMiddle East LNG exports plunge 47% year on year in H1 2026, WTO says

The WTO said Middle East LNG exports fell about 47% year on year in the first half of 2026, while crude oil exports declined about 24%. Rising supplies from Malaysia, Norway and Angola partly offset the LNG shortfall; increased crude production and shipments from the United States, Norway and Brazil also cushioned the global decline.
