EconomyBitget hack-linked surge generated 63% of THORChain’s record September income

THORChain reported $3.01 million in September system income, its highest since March 2025, as swap volume reached $2.40 billion. From Sept. 25 to 29, about $1.37 billion crossed the network, generating roughly $1.9 million—63% of the monthly total. THORChain said the surge coincided with funds linked to the Bitget exploit moving through the network. Wallet growth was modest, suggesting large flows rather than a comparable rise in users drove the jump.
