TechTP-Link faces growing US pressure from router ban and lawsuits in four states
Florida and three other states have sued TP-Link, alleging it misled consumers about its ties to China and the risk of Chinese state hackers exploiting its routers. The FCC’s ban on consumer routers made wholly or partly outside the US has not been waived for TP-Link, leaving its latest Wi-Fi 8 models unsellable there; previously approved models remain available.
