SocietyRussia to Photograph Driving-Test Candidates and Record Exams
A Russian government resolution will require automated photographs of driving-test candidates and real-time audio and video recording of theory exams from March 1, 2027. Candidates whose medical certificates are in a unified database will not need paper copies; those with expired certificates may test, but licenses will wait until renewal.
