SportsPalestine: The Lost Team

This documentary revisits the 1934 team that entered the World Cup qualifiers as Palestine but had no Arab Palestinian players. Drawn largely from the Jewish sporting movement under the British Mandate, it explores how football, Zionist organisation and Palestinian exclusion shaped the team, and how Palestinians later reclaimed a place in world football before FIFA recognition in 1998.
