PoliticsEU agrees on new Return Order with longer detention and return hubs
EU ministers have agreed on new return rules that could sanction migrants who refuse to cooperate with return procedures. The measures allow detention for up to 24 months, or longer in cases involving security risks, and provide for return hubs outside the EU.
