Hong Kong’s Mandatory Provident Fund schemes lost 1.47 per cent in September, but still recorded gains of nearly HK$100 billion in the first nine months of the year, according to MPF Ratings. The 382 funds averaged a 6.2 per cent return over the period and earned HK$96.9 billion in the first three quarters.
