SocietyMoscow plans vast glass canopy to link Yaroslavsky and Leningradsky stations
Reconstruction of Moscow’s Yaroslavsky Station is due to start in December 2026 and finish by the end of 2028. Wave-shaped glass canopies will connect it with neighboring Leningradsky Station, allowing passengers to transfer indoors. Preservationists fear the project could erase the station’s Soviet-era architectural character, while officials say it will restore its “historic architectural appearance.”
