Investigators have abandoned the felony case against Lighthouse Charity Foundation hospice founder Lida Moniava, saying her conduct did not constitute a crime. The case was opened under Russia’s law against spreading “fake news” about the army over a February 2023 Telegram post. Moniava was detained on September 2 and later placed under restrictions.
