The International Organization for Migration says heavy fighting forced more than 184,000 people from their homes in Yemen between August 1 and October 4, with most displacement occurring since early September. Nearly 21,800 fled between September 27 and October 3, while about 4,500 left on October 4 alone. The agency says all need food, shelter and other basic humanitarian aid and warns that further displacement may follow as instability continues.
