Lawyer Masi Nayyem said former Ukrainian presidential chief of staff Andriy Yermak had joined the legal team representing skeleton racer Vladyslav Heraskevych in his case against the International Olympic Committee. Heraskevych’s lawyer Yevheniy Pronin later effectively denied that Yermak had joined. Heraskevych was barred from using a helmet honoring Ukrainian athletes killed in Russia’s war and was later disqualified from the Olympics.
