Pro-Russian Serb nationalist politician Milorad Dodik declared his SNSD party the winner in Bosnia and Herzegovina’s Oct. 4 elections. Preliminary results indicate that Zeljka Cvijanovic is likely to retain the Serb seat on the tripartite presidency. With more than 95% counted, turnout was 42%, nearly 10 percentage points lower than in 2022.
