HealthEbola deaths in DR Congo surpass 4,000

Government figures say Ebola has killed more than 4,000 people and produced about 8,300 confirmed cases across seven provinces in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. More than 2,000 patients have recovered. Médecins Sans Frontières says the real toll may be higher, while violence and a fire at an Ebola transit center are disrupting containment and contact tracing.
