Coin Metrics has recomputed Ethereum’s Standard Flow Metrics from the network’s first block. Newly identified exchange addresses can retrospectively revise past values, meaning research that treats outflows as trading signals must track the data vintage used in backtests. The effect of this rebuild on returns remains unmeasured.
