TechBitcoin Core fix blocks fund redirection without private-key theft
Bitcoin Core has added a safeguard against signing partially signed Bitcoin transactions whose signatures may not remain tied to the recipient approved by the user. The flaw involves SIGHASH_SINGLE under specific missing-output conditions and could leave a changed destination validly signed without exposing private keys. The fix is on the development branch, but no production release containing it had been confirmed by Oct. 4.
