Germany announced more than €1.3 billion in new support for Ukraine on Oct. 4, including €1 billion in military aid and about €350 million for energy assistance. The package will help fund interceptor drones, generators and repairs to infrastructure damaged by Russian attacks, Chancellor Friedrich Merz and President Volodymyr Zelensky said in Kyiv.
