Bosnia and Herzegovina will hold general elections, with more than 3.4 million registered voters choosing the state Presidency, the lower house and legislative bodies in the country’s two entities. Republika Srpska will also elect a president. Seventy-five parties, 29 coalitions and four independent candidates are competing, with biometric identification and ballot scanners being used for the first time.
