Russian Security Council Deputy Chairman Dmitry Medvedev said Ukraine must accept a neutral, non-nuclear and independent status, abandon its nationalist course and ban on things Russian, and recognize as Russian territory the Donbass and other new regions covered by Russia’s Constitution. He said these conditions could support a diplomatic settlement; otherwise, Russia would achieve them militarily.
