WorldPontoon crossings planned for Kyiv after Russian strikes on key bridges

Kyiv plans to build pontoon crossings over the Dnipro River after Russian drone strikes hit the capital’s Southern and Northern bridges, Ukrainian media reported. Infrastructure Minister Mykola Kalashnyk said construction could take up to three months, while authorities restricted bridge crossings during air raid alerts. Underground tunnels are also being considered.
