Leveraged funds’ reported Bitcoin futures shorts declined by 5,299.69 BTC-equivalent in the week to Sept. 29, while longs fell by 908.99 BTC-equivalent. Their net short narrowed from 40,110.83 to 35,720.13, but shorts still exceeded longs. Combined open interest across the four markets dropped 13.31% to 103,343.14 BTC-equivalent. The data do not establish new spot buying or weaker bearish conviction.
