Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Guo Jiakun said China supports settling disputes through political and diplomatic means and hopes Iran and the United States choose peace, return to the Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding and resume dialogue and negotiations soon. China said it would continue working for peace and stability in the Gulf region.
