Ethereum layer-2 network Blast said it will shut down because maintaining the chain costs more than it earns. Users were urged to move assets to Ethereum mainnet by Oct. 26; withdrawals will be temporarily paused while Blast withdraws assets from Lido, then resume with a 24-hour delay.
