TechUnpatched Eclair Bitcoin Lightning nodes could crash again with every restart

A disclosed unfunded-channel flaw could repeatedly crash reachable Eclair nodes running v0.14.0 or earlier without requiring an attacker to spend BTC on-chain. Malicious peers could accumulate fake channel records, which remained on disk and triggered another memory exhaustion when the node restarted. The issue was fixed in v0.14.1, while ACINQ recommends v0.14.3 for broader security coverage.
