Europe began the traditional October heating season with the lowest underground gas storage inventories since records started in 2011, according to TASS calculations based on Gas Infrastructure Europe data. Warm early-autumn weather helped EU countries raise September inventories at their fastest pace in four years, with net injections reaching 7 billion cubic meters, up 23% year on year.
