Brazil’s Attorney General Jorge Messias has asked law enforcement to investigate alleged US interference in Brazil’s domestic politics through funding for far-right causes. The request follows a Guardian report that the Trump administration planned to give $1m to right-wing civil groups opposing Brazil’s Supreme Court, ahead of a tense presidential election.
