Russia’s Prosecutor General’s Office has filed a lawsuit in Moscow against Kazakhstani businessman Timur Turlov and Freedom Finance, the financial holding company he founded, RBC reported. The claim’s nature has not been disclosed, and several affiliated companies are also defendants. Freedom Holding said it did not understand the case and saw no significant operational risks, noting it has no assets or operations in Russia. Turlov was elected FIDE president on September 26.
