TechMemory executives expect RAM shortage to continue through 2028

Executives at Micron and Samsung say the memory shortage is likely to last for at least the next several years. Micron CEO Sanjay Mehrotra told investors that demand should exceed available supply, particularly for AI-focused high-bandwidth memory and server DRAM. Capacity is being directed toward those markets, restricting memory for consumer devices.
