PoliticsProekt investigation finds Russian officials apparently flying on oligarchs’ private jets

Proekt analyzed international flight records for 1,064 senior Russian officials from 2014 to 2023. It found that 322 traveled abroad on business jets, including 101 officials whose flights were likely provided by prominent businesspeople in industries they oversee. The investigation also described officials using state-company jets for personal trips and traveling with relatives, businesspeople, and alleged criminal figures.
