Ripple’s Brazilian expansion spans cross-border payments, stablecoins, custody and tokenization. It and regulated market-infrastructure operator CSD BR announced a first phase to mirror ownership records for BTG Pactual fund shares on the XRP Ledger, while CSD BR retains the official registration, deposit and settlement records. Ripple executive Markus Infanger said about $2.7 billion of the $6.7 billion in tokenized real-world assets counted on XRPL was in Brazil.
