EconomyEurope injects only 70% of gas needed for winter into storage by end-September
Europe had injected more than 47.5 billion cubic meters of net gas into EU underground storage facilities since April, equal to only 70% of the volume needed for winter, according to TASS calculations based on GIE data. Storage sites were 71.54% full on September 29, the lowest level for that date since records began in 2011 and below the EU target.
