SportsAFCON 2027: East Africa races to get tournament-ready

With less than nine months before the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations, Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania are rushing to complete and test stadiums, training grounds and supporting infrastructure. Kenya’s Talanta Sports International Stadium is a key project, but some training venues and other facilities still need work. Tanzania says its stadiums are over 80 percent complete on average, while training sites are about 75 percent ready.
