Bitcoin improvement proposal BIP461 defines a common ECDSA signing procedure so independent signers should produce identical signatures for the same key and message hash. That creates a benchmark for spotting possible hidden key leakage without changing consensus rules. A mismatch warrants investigation but cannot by itself prove malicious hardware or theft, and the draft does not directly address the Schnorr technique described in the Dark Skippy disclosure.
