EconomyUS extends license for Serbia’s NIS until October 30
The US Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control has extended the operating license for sanctioned Serbian oil company Naftna Industrija Srbije until October 30. Serbia’s acting energy minister said the 30-day extension would allow the Pancevo refinery to keep operating, while warning that energy prices, logistics, low Danube water levels and fuel-import problems continue to make conditions extremely challenging.
