Xbox CEO Asha Sharma has denied reports that Microsoft is considering selling the gaming business. She says the company will pursue the partnerships and operating model needed for success. Microsoft is instead restructuring Xbox, cutting management layers and planning up to 3,200 layoffs during its 2027 financial year, while taking a long-term view of the division.
