ScienceArctic facade systems testing ground opens in Murmansk
Murmansk has opened the first Arctic testing ground for evaluating facade systems in the Far North. Located at Murmansk Arctic University, it contains four house models, controlled indoor conditions and sensors that measure electricity use as weather changes. The research is intended to compare facade efficiency and durability and inform building regulations.
