Five crew members aboard the oil tanker MT Hoarner 25 were killed by pirates before Puntland security forces retook the vessel off Somalia’s coast, a senior regional official told the BBC. Four others were injured and 16 suspected pirates were arrested. Piracy in the area has risen again in recent years.
