Savo Minic, prime minister of Bosnia and Herzegovina’s Republika Srpska and a presidential candidate for the ruling Alliance of Independent Social Democrats, said Europe must do everything possible to avert armed conflict. He urged the use of diplomatic ties and communication channels, saying militarization cannot be the answer and that he knows war from personal experience in the early 1990s.
