CultureHong Kong exhibition unveils 157 treasures from Qing imperial workshops
A special exhibition at the Hong Kong Palace Museum opened Wednesday with 157 treasures from the Palace Museum, including 14 national first-class cultural relics. “Design for the Forbidden City: Imperial Workshops of the Qing Court” examines the workshops’ history, organization, materials and production methods, while interactive displays recreate the process of submitting samples for imperial approval.
