TechPentagon signs $20 billion Boeing deal to develop F/A-XX fighter for Navy
The US Department of War says it has awarded Boeing a $20 billion contract to develop the Navy’s sixth-generation carrier-based F/A-XX fighter. The aircraft is intended to replace the F/A-18E and F/A-18F Super Hornets and EA-18G Growlers, while the program could ultimately cost hundreds of billions of dollars.
