Executives at Hong Kong’s largest listed companies have a severe shortage of technological expertise, Grant Thornton Hong Kong says. Its review of 100 major Hang Seng Composite Index firms found fewer than 1 per cent of directors had dedicated AI or cybersecurity skills, even though 59 per cent viewed either area as a principal business risk.
