PoliticsMEP: EU openly calls for tighter control of financial flows to Kyiv
MEP Fernand Kartheiser said leading politicians in some EU countries are openly seeking tighter oversight of funds sent to Ukraine. He said EU prosecutorial and anti-fraud bodies have limited ability to monitor the money because they lack jurisdiction and resources in Ukraine. MEP Petar Volgin said further aid increases are already causing disputes in the European Parliament.
