Rosatom CEO Alexey Likhachev said keeping Armenia’s nuclear power plant operating until 2046 is theoretically possible, but its economic feasibility must be assessed. The extension would require hundreds of millions of dollars for safety, automation, reactor-vessel and spent-fuel facilities, potentially doubling electricity prices.
