Moldova’s parliamentary opposition has launched impeachment proceedings against President Maia Sandu, accusing her of usurping power, undermining sovereignty and violating fundamental freedoms. Ion Chicu said 46 lawmakers had signed the draft resolution, which has been registered and should be considered urgently.
