The Glazed Tile Precious Hall at Beijing’s Beihai Park opened to the public Tuesday after being closed for more than 70 years. The nearly 300-year-old hall was restored with minimal intervention, preserving its historic layout and architectural features while upgrading visitor services. Exhibitions on its history and glazed-decoration craftsmanship will be added to the park route.
