TechOpenAI scraps latest AI model release over safety concerns

OpenAI, the company behind ChatGPT, has cancelled the release of its latest agentic model, Astra 6.1, after it failed to meet safety standards. Rival Anthropic is meanwhile devoting much of its IPO prospectus to risks linked to artificial intelligence.
