TechChainlink CCIP 2.0 exposes bridge risk as issuer verifiers can stall transfers
Chainlink’s CCIP 2.0 allows token issuers to make an additional Cross-Chain Verifier mandatory for delivery. Tokens may already be locked or burned on the sending side when that verifier becomes decisive, leaving the destination unable to release or mint them without an attestation. The design permits issuer or third-party services to delay completion, but does not show that any issuer has deliberately blocked a holder’s transfer.
